Cartuxa Harvest Rosé Wine

Cartuxa rosé was produced from two plots of Touriga Nacional planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. 10% of the blend fermented in used barrels, enhancing volume and smoothness, with the remainder in stainless steel vats. This wine links its quality to the name of the Carthusian monks who, since 1598, have led a solitary life of prayer at the Convento de Santa Maria Scala Coeli, in Évora.

The Cartuxa brand is one of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation's main assets and is the current umbrella brand for Adega Cartuxa. The insignia reflects the identity of the Vinea, EA, Foral de Évora, Cartuxa, and Scala Coeli wines, as well as the legendary Pêra-Manca. Excellence, quality, and individuality define a unique style that stands out and establishes an Alentejo classic.
