Aguardente da Adega de Borba, produced from white wine from the 1970s. Adega de Borba was celebrating its 21st anniversary, and in the Alentejo vineyards of the Borba region, grapes of the Roupeiro and Rabo de Ovelha varieties were harvested to produce white wine using the region's traditional fermentation technique. Thus begins the story of Adega de Borba's 30-Year-Old Brandy, which, according to the producer, "resulted in a golden amber topaz color and an intense yet subtly spicy aroma of ripe yellow fruits and dried fruits, to be served as a digestif at the end of a meal, after coffee, and with dark chocolate."
