Cartuxa Reserva Tinto is one of the most iconic wines of the Alentejo region , produced by the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation in Évora.
Made from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Trincadeira and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sourced from the estate's oldest vineyards, this wine expresses the tradition, elegance and depth that have made the Cartuxa name a national and international benchmark.
It has an intense garnet color and a complex aroma of ripe black fruits, spices, cocoa, and fine notes of wood , the result of its prolonged aging in French oak barrels.
On the palate it is rich, full-bodied and harmonious , with round and ripe tannins, balanced acidity and a long, persistent and refined finish , reflecting the essence of the great Alentejo region.
Ideal to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol | Serve at: 16–18 °C
