Dona Ermelinda Grande Reserva red wine is a wine of color almost opaque garnet , with intense aromas of Black fruits , spices and smoky notes, accompanied by a hint of jam due to the high ripeness of the grapes.

On the palate, it stands out for being dense, full-bodied, with A rich structure , with well-integrated tannins, and a long, persistent finish. The aromatic profile includes ripe black fruits, spices, and smoky nuances, enhancing the intensity and complexity of this wine.
Winemaking and Aging
The winemaking process involves fermentation in stainless steel vats with 7 days of cold maceration, 10 days of alcoholic fermentation, and 15 days of post-fermentation skin maceration. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by another 18 months in the bottle to refine its profile.
Varieties and Region
It is produced from grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Aragonês, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, which contribute to the richness of the wine. Originating from the Setúbal Peninsula region, in the vineyards of Casa Ermelinda Freitas, it stands out as a benchmark of the winery's most modern grape varieties.
