Moscatel de Setúbal is a fortified wine with a Controlled Denomination of Origin (D.O.C.), recognized since 1907. Moscatel de Setúbal is made from the Moscatel grape variety, a type of grape distinguished by its fruity, honeyed character with aromas of tropical fruit, setting Moscatel wines apart from any other type of wine.

Moscatel de Setúbal can be served as an aperitif, in which case it is recommended to be served at a temperature of 10ºC. As a dessert wine, it is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate or any egg-based dessert.
