These wines associate their quality with the name of the Carthusian monks who, since 1598, have led a solitary life of prayer in the Monastery of Santa Maria Scala Coeli.
The red wines are based on the Trincadeira, Aragonez, and Alicante Bouchet grape varieties. Aged in oak, these wines are well-structured and elegant, combining the aromas of the grape varieties used with a persistent and complex flavor.
