Famous for its Port wine since 1751, Ferreira also dedicates itself to the selection and aging of high-quality wine brandies. It is from the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia that the brandies are carefully chosen and aged in 270-liter oak casks. In order to obtain maximum quality, tests are periodically carried out and several batches of different ages and characteristics are introduced. After the final batch is chosen, the brandy is placed in 640-liter vats, where it ages. Dark golden in color with greenish nuances, this aged brandy has a very strong aroma of good quality wood. On the palate it is smooth, velvety, and with a very elegant and persistent finish.
