Ginja Olaias

1L

Ginjinha is a liqueur made from fermented ginja (a fruit similar to cherries) and steeped in brandy. Sugar and cinnamon sticks are then added. It's a widely consumed liqueur in Portugal (especially popular in Lisbon, Óbidos, Alcobaça, and the Algarve). It's traditional to say "with" or "without" when ordering ginjinha—that is, whether you want the drink with or without fruit in the glass!
