70cl / 1 L
With a history dating back to 1865, Macieira has accompanied generations of consumers and connoisseurs, from kings and poets to connoisseurs and pure brandy lovers, both within and beyond national borders. It is distilled with wine made from local grapes and aged in oak barrels to produce an easy-drinking brandy. Internationally recognized, Macieira has won various awards since its presence at the Paris World's Fair in 1889. Its elegant and insightful character has allowed the brand to keep up with the times and adapt to the current market, always celebrating its origins and expertise. Produced from the finest Portuguese grapes, Macieira has a unique aroma and flavor, adhering to the same production process for over 100 years. Macieira, with an alcohol content of 36%, is obtained from wine brandy aged for a minimum of six months in oak barrels. Its subtle aroma results from the original recipe, kept secret since its creation, and from the distillation of grapes from the Arinto, Periquita, Trincadeira and Fernão Pires varieties.
