Insignia 20 Years Port Wine

Winemaking:
A 20-year-old Port is a high-quality Port wine, obtained by blending wines from different years, with an average age of 20 years. It has a golden color and more evolved and concentrated flavors, due to the aging process that typically takes place in 550-liter casks.

Tasting notes:
Amber-colored wine with brownish reflections. It has a persistent and captivating aroma due to its long aging in oak. Aromas of almonds, cinnamon, vanilla, and caramel. Rich in flavor with a velvety and smooth texture.

Storage and serving tips:
The bottle should be stored upright, at a constant temperature, and away from intense direct light. Once opened, consume preferably within 18 to 20 weeks. Port wine is a natural wine, so it may form some natural sediment over time. Pour carefully to avoid cloudiness. It should be served at a temperature between 14° and 16°C.

Food pairing:
It pairs very well with desserts made with chocolate, dried fruit, spices (cinnamon), and caramel. It can also be served with coffee or hot chocolate.
