🍷 Marquês de Borba Old Vines Red Wine – Alentejo DOC
Produced by João Portugal Ramos , Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas Tinto is an excellent wine, made from the Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Castelão and Trincadeira grape varieties, sourced from old, low-yielding vines in the Borba region.
It has a deep garnet color and an intense and complex aroma , with notes of ripe black fruits, cocoa, coffee and fine spices , enveloped by elegant touches of wood, the result of aging in French and American oak barrels.
On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and harmonious , with firm and polished tannins, balanced acidity and a long, elegant and persistent finish , reflecting all the mastery and tradition of the Alentejo region.
Ideal to accompany red meats, game dishes and aged cheeses.
Alcohol content: 14.5% vol | Serve at: 16–18 °C

Marquês de Borba Vinhas Velhas Branco , also signed by João Portugal Ramos , is a sophisticated, fresh and balanced wine, made from the Arinto, Antão Vaz and Viognier grape varieties, sourced from carefully selected old vines.
It has a bright golden color and a complex aroma of tropical fruits, citrus fruits and honey , with subtle notes of vanilla and fine toast , resulting from partial aging in oak barrels.
On the palate it is creamy, enveloping and persistent , with a lively acidity and an elegant, long finish, demonstrating the harmony between the freshness and structure of the great white wines of the Alentejo region.
Perfect to accompany seafood, oily fish, white meats and oven-baked dishes.
