Famous for its Port wine since 1751, Ferreira also dedicates itself to the selection and aging of high-quality wine spirits. The wines from the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia are carefully selected and aged in 270-liter oak barrels. To achieve maximum quality, tastings are held periodically, and several batches of varying ages and characteristics are introduced. After the final batch is selected, the spirit is placed in 640-liter barrels, where it ages. Dark golden in color with greenish hues, this aged spirit has a very strong aroma of good-quality wood. It is smooth on the palate, velvety on the palate, and has a very elegant and persistent finish.
