Baileys Original

70cl
What makes Baileys so famous and delicious is the quality of each of its ingredients. Baileys was born from the combination of the whiskey distilling tradition in Ireland (one of the largest whiskey producers in the world) and the quality of Irish milk (don't get me thinking they've started feeding whiskey to cows!). Irish milk is famous for its quality; Baileys uses milk from carefully selected Irish farms—approximately 40,000 cows provide milk for Baileys production. It's said that the quality of Irish milk is due to the fact that there are no happier cows than Irish cows! They are fed four different types of grass, all of the highest quality available. The milk from these cows is transformed into Baileys less than 36 hours after being produced, and the first step is to mix the cream with the finest Irish whiskey. The combination of whiskey and cream works so well that it's the whiskey that preserves the cream! (Baileys maintains its flavor for 2 years.) Finally, Baileys adds a unique combination of cocoa nibs and vanilla pods, plus caramel and sugar for a grand finish. Now, a Baileys, the original Irish Cream enjoyed around the world, is complete. It can be served neat, on the rocks, or as a base for a cocktail—Baileys never lets us down.
