The fertile lands of the Varosa valley are the cradle of Murganheira wines and sparkling wines, which have always been associated with the highest quality standards. Here, where the Douro and the Beira regions meet, excellent climatic and geological conditions come together, conducive to the genesis of the most intense flavours and aromas. The result is superior quality wines, the basis for the best Portuguese sparkling wines. Sparkling wine produced from the Cerceal and Malvasia Fina grape varieties. With grapes rigorously selected and carefully vinified using the most stringent technologies, Caves Murganheira produced this quality sparkling wine through a second fermentation in the bottle, known as the classic method. Ideal for festive events, it pairs perfectly with cakes and sweets. Pale yellow colour. Fine and refined bubbles. The aromas are led by macerated apple fruit, freshly cut grass and hints of sweet pastry. Low-growing flowers show intensity, finishing fresh and complete. The palate is refreshed by creamy foam. Once again, large quantities of macerated fruit accompany sweet biscuit flavours and a slight floral note. Medium persistence on the palate.
