Farinheira with Oregano, Very Alentejo - Oriola

A farinheira is more than just a sausage; it's a mixture of wheat flour, paprika paste, and spices, to which a little fat and bacon are added. To give it a special flavor, we add a key ingredient typical of Mediterranean cuisine: oregano, which gives it an even more powerful, yet very pleasant flavor.

Serving Suggestion:

It should preferably be eaten baked or fried. Try it with scrambled eggs; it makes an excellent starter.
