Moscatel de Setúbal is a fortified wine with a Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC), recognized since 1907. Moscatel de Setúbal is made from the Moscatel grape variety, which is prized for its fruity, honeyed character with aromas of tropical fruit, differentiating Moscatel wines from any other type of wine.

Moscatel de Setúbal can be served as an aperitif, in which case it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 10ºC. As a dessert wine, it is an excellent accompaniment to dark chocolate or any egg-based dessert.
