🍷 Cartuxa Colheita Red
The Cartuxa Colheita Red is an iconic Alentejo wine, produced by the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, in Évora. It represents the balance between tradition and elegance that have made the Cartuxa brand one of the most prestigious in the country.
Made from Aragonez, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties, this wine is aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels and a few more months in the bottle before being released to the market.
With a deep ruby color, it presents intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, such as plum and blackberry, combined with notes of spices, cocoa, and slight hints of vanilla and tobacco resulting from the aging in wood.
On the palate, it is rich and enveloping, with fine tannins, balanced acidity, and a long and persistent finish, revealing all the personality and nobility of the Alentejo terroir.
Serving suggestions: ideal for accompanying red meats, game, sausages, and cured cheeses.
Serve between: 16 °C and 18 °C.

The Cartuxa Colheita White is a fresh and elegant wine from Alentejo, also produced by the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, in Évora.
It is made from Antão Vaz, Roupeiro, and Arinto grape varieties, carefully selected from the estate's vineyards. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, preserving the aromatic character and natural freshness of the grapes to the maximum.
It presents a citrine color with greenish reflections and delicate aromas of white and citrus fruits, with floral notes and a slight minerality that gives it elegance and harmony.
On the palate, it proves to be balanced and vibrant, with good acidity and a fresh, lingering finish — ideal for those who appreciate whites with a modern profile but with Alentejo identity.
Serving suggestions: perfect for accompanying seafood, grilled fish, salads, and mild cheeses.
Serve between: 8 °C and 10 °C.
