Piteira DOC White is a wine that reflects the authenticity and tradition of the Alentejo region. It displays a citrus color with greenish highlights, revealing fresh and fruity aromas with notes of lime, green apple, and pineapple. On the palate, it is smooth, with good acidity and a long, harmonious finish. Ideal for accompanying appetizers, salads, fish and seafood dishes, or even a traditional dogfish soup. It should be served at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
Grape varieties: Antão Vaz, Arinto, and Roupeiro.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Vinification: Fermentation in open vats with temperature control in stainless steel tanks.
Piteira DOC Red is a wine that expresses the richness and diversity of traditional Alentejo grape varieties. It presents an intense ruby color and complex aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and a touch of cocoa. On the palate, it is structured, with firm tannins and well-integrated acidity, providing a long and persistent finish. It is an excellent choice to accompany grilled meats, game dishes, and cured cheeses.
Grape varieties: Trincadeira, Aragonez, Moreto, and Alfrocheiro.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Vinification: Mechanical treading, fermentation in 8-tonne vats with full skin contact. Aged for 1 year in bottle.
